Lay your table with this set comprising of four vintage stainless steel knives, four silver plated forks, four silver plated spoons with four vintage white linen napkins and a white linen tablecloth.
The knives (23.5cm long approx) are marked Norman Bennett Sheffield. Eng. Stainless X-SS. They handles have a nice yellow cream colour overall, but do have some marks and a little discolouration to two of the knives on the back. The forks (19.5cm approx) are beautifully shiny but with small patina scratches towards bottom of handles. They are marked on the back RFMS. EP on the back.
The spoons are 17.5cm long approx with hallmarks on the back. They do have some wear to the silver plate on the neck of the spoons, the top edge and the back (where they contact the table) – look closely at the photos. Shiny when polished and perfect for dessert.
The knives, forks and spoons aren’t from the same sets, but sit well together.
The white napkins are damask linen, perhaps made from a roll of napkin fabric that are then cut to size as they are selvedge edge down two sides and hemmed edge on the other two. They are in good condition with no marks. Size 54cm square approx.
The tablecloth is matching white damask linen with no marks. 132cm square approx.
Note – not suitable for the dishwasher!
